ASSA ABLOY to showcase new technology at IFSEC /Abloy/AbloyCOUK/News/aperio_524x224.jpg ASSA ABLOY will be showcasing a range of industry-leading technology-based security and access control solutions at IFSEC 2011, including Aperio and Abloy electric locks. Visitors to Stand C50 in Hall 4 will be able to discover more about ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio enabling technology and new Aperio partnering program, designed to support business growth for access control specialists. Aperio uses smart technology to enable the wireless integration of mechanical locks into existing access control systems with minimal door modification, allowing easy and cost effective expansion of existing locking systems within refurbished or remodeled public and commercial buildings. IFSEC visitors will be able to experience Aperio’s ease of installation for themselves by entering the on-stand competition, where the fastest person to change a traditional cylinder to an Aperio cylinder will win an iPad. ASSA ABLOY will also be launching Cliq Remote; an internet-based security management system that allows programming of cylinders and keys to provide remote access control across disparate sites requiring high levels of security. Other innovations on display will include ASSA ABLOY’s HiO (Highly Intelligent Opening) technology for electronic door components, in conjunction with Trimec electric strikes. This future-proof system provides advanced diagnostic information by building intelligence into each device instead of a entralized logic unit, allowing the health of the door opening to be easily communicated. Now available in the UK from ASSA ABLOY, a range of Trimec electromechanical locking solutions will be on display, including the new ES2100 monitored strike. The ES9000, ES6000 and ES110 electric strikes will also be on show, alongside the Vlock motorized bolt and TB25 and TB38 drop bolts. New for the residential market, Yale Keyfree will also be exhibited at IFSEC. The UK’s first ever digital door lock for residential doors, Yale Keyfree allows users to access and secure their home using a personalised PIN code or remote control fob, with no need for a traditional key. ASSA ABLOY will also be showcasing its Codehandle – a sleek lever handle that features an integral five-button keypad, which provides a simple, cost-effective way to restrict access to private areas of light commercial and residential buildings. Plus, visitors to the stand will be able to view the new range of CE marked door closers from ASSA ABLOY, including two cam motion models that will assist building owners in meeting Equality Act guidelines. A rack and pinion variant is also available with the same installation footprint, allowing for greater flexibility. Finally, ASSA ABLOY will be displaying a range of high security steel doors from the ASSA ABLOY Security Doors division, alongside Cliq Protec technology, a hybrid electromechanical locking solution; and a selection of electric strikes from Abloy, including the new 466 and 566 locks. To find out more, visit Stand C50 in Hall 4 at the NEC from 16-19 May 2011.
